About the author: Willyne Hammerstein is a Dutch quilt designer and author. She started working with fabric at a young age alongside her mother and learned to sew in school but ultimately studied to become a lawyer. Following the birth of her two daughters, she made her first quilt using the EPP method and never looked back. Willyne continued to quilt alongside her successful lawyer career until her retirement at age sixty-seven. Today, she is known as a quilting expert thanks to her use of EPP to create magnificent kaleidoscope quilts that have won her acclaim around the world.
