Sarah from the studio has made this gorgeous Liberty Jumpsuit for her daughter Gwen. Gwen chose the pattern and fabric – both are great choices.
Gwen said “I chose the fabric because I loved the colour and pale blue is really in this season. This is a really pretty way of wearing pale blue. I also love the off the shoulder frill of the pattern design. Jumpsuits are fashionable too at the moment.”
The fabric chosen is Capel C and the pattern is New Look 6444 using view A. Sarah said “The pattern was really simple and easy to follow. I traced the pattern so that I could make different sizes of the pattern (you’ll see a dress using the same pattern next week). I did find that the pattern was quite big on the top. I adjusted the finished jumpsuit by putting a tuck in under the arms to make it less baggy.”
The bottom of the Liberty Jumpsuit has gathered legs which give them a really lovely finish and matches the top really well. It’s also got a handy tie for the waistline which finishes the jumpsuit beautifully.
The frill at the top is super pretty.
