The new ‘Orchard Cottage Collection’ of Liberty Quilting Cotton is now out. The collection looks so lovely stacked up in bolts and really shines as a whole collection.
The collection is inspired by the stately gardens of grand English houses. There are beautiful floral gardens with primulas and pretty blossoms, orchards with cherries, strawberries, plums and citrus fruits. The collection is a blend of new artwork and redrawn designs from the extensive Liberty archive. The colours include deep berry autumnal shades, soft pumpkin hues which sit with deep emerald foliage and fresh blues. This collection completes the quilting cotton garden trilogy.
I’ve done what I love to do best. I’ve put together some really lovely fat quarter bundles below. Below is the coral selection.
The base quality of the fabric is Lasenby Cotton and is 100% cotton. It’s woven with sewers in mind in a quilting cotton. The blue bundle below has some lovely tones, patterns and designs.
Lovely autumnal umber tones come in this fat quarter selection.
I hope you enjoy sewing with this Liberty Quilting Cotton collection. I would really love to see anything you make using these fabrics. Make sure you tag me in on Instagram and Facebook.
