Debbie has made this super cute Liberty Stocking using one of my favourite Christmas Liberty fabrics – Liberty Christmas.
Here’s Debbie: “I loved the fabric because it reminded me about my own childhood and the warm fuzzy feeling I always used to get around Christmas time. The two fabrics I’ve used are both pretty sophisticated that lend themselves well to a hanging stocking. This stocking has a sense of timelessness about it and is both suitable for boys and girls. I love the vibrant pop of the Plain Peppermint R and I couldn’t resist using this as the stocking topper.”
“The main fabric I used was the Liberty Christmas T. I love the animals in this fun print – there is so much to look at. It’s based on the wooden panels in the Liberty store which are carved with cute animals which, in this print are helping with the Christmas festivities. I found the stocking pattern on Pinterest which was an easy stocking. It’s self lined and is reversible with wadding sandwiched in the middle.”
“I made it to hang above the fireplace and am so pleased with the end result.”
