I am delighted to launch the collection of new Liberty quilting fabrics. This lovely new collection of quilting fabrics, called ‘The English Garden’, is reminiscent of beautiful gardens and florals from across the country and seasons. It is the first time that Liberty have designed a collection with the quilter in mind. How exciting!
This collection has been specially designed by the Liberty design team for quilters. The fabrics are all Lasenby 100% cotton which is of a quality specifically woven for quilters. There are delicate florals in subtle colourways which will complement quilting patterns and designs. I’m really excited to be selling them to our many customers, many of whom have an avid interest in quilting.
The fabric above is called ‘Mamie’ and is available in three pretty colourways.
The patterns and designs are perfect for quilting and I can’t wait to get started with them. I have put together some beautiful fat quarter bundles which will hopefully inspire a new project or two. The Liberty design team have redrawn some of the designs from the Liberty archive, some dating back to the early 1900s. These fabrics will add to the huge number of Liberty fabrics that we already have on offer from our studio. Check out the fat quarter bundles here.
