PATTERN: Over The Rainbow Quilt Pattern

This Over The Rainbow quilt is a great way to showcase your favourite Liberty prints! Suitable for an adventurous beginner sewer, construction of this quilt uses simple straight machine sewing and the English Paper Pieced (EPP) method to make a traditional shape known as the Dresden Plate. If new to the technique you will find that EPP is actually quite a simple (and addictive!) way to hand sew. 

This pattern is designed for Liberty Tana Lawn to be used as the Dresden petals, borders and binding fabrics. Liberty Quilting Cotton or any other quilting cotton works well as the background, backing and block central circles- the quilt pictured uses an antique white coloured quilting cotton for this.
