PATTERN: Yuletide Friends Wall Hanging Pattern

This Yuletide Friends Wall Hanging is a great way to bring a bit of handmade charm to your festive decor! Suitable for an advancing beginner sewer, it is constructed using the raw edge appliqué technique and a little bit of English Paper Piecing (EPP).Appliqué does require some concentration, but will help advance your sewing skills. EPP is a simple hand sewing method which is rather addictive and a great way to relax.

Liberty Tana Lawn® fabric would be perfect for the animals, hearts, stars and foliage. If not Liberty, any other 54” (137cm) wide lightweight cotton fabric will suit. Any 44” (112cm) wide quilting cotton would be suited for the background and backing fabric.

YOU WILL NEED
Scissors, standard crafting glue stick (such as a Pritt stick), iron, pins, sewing thread to match fabric, embroidery thread in red and white, sewing machine, hand sewing needle, heat erasable fabric pen. Optional: free motion quilting foot, washable adhesive, Sewline glue pen
