In this delightful workshop, Alice will take you through the various steps and techniques needed to make a mini sampler quilt. This project is a great way to explore a selection of summer inspired shapes and designs using pretty Liberty fabric. In this workshop, you will learn the techniques of EPP (English Paper Piecing), raw edge applique and simple patchwork. The combination of hand and machine sewing in this workshop is perfect for either a beginner or an intermediate sewer. Alice’s knowledge of sewing and Liberty fabrics is bound to make this workshop both interesting alongside the opportunity to learn new techniques. 1 piece of white cotton fabric for blocks and backing.
1 piece of Liberty Tana Lawn® fabric for borders (Please Note: The border fabric is D’anjo, as pictured in the second and third images, not Phoebe as used in the made up quilt images 1, 3-9.)
1 piece of Liberty Tana Lawn® fabric for binding
13 pieces of Liberty Tana Lawn® fabric for block EPP, raw edge appliqué and patchwork.

YOU WILL NEED
Iron, pins, thread to match each fabric, heat erasable fabric pen, embroidery thread, hand sewing needle, fabric starch, sewing machine (it is handy to be able to drop the feed dog), ruler, cutting mat, scissors or rotary cutter
Optional: free motion quilting foot, washable adhesive glue stick.
Wadding: approx 19” x 19” (48.5cm x 48.5cm)
Iron-on transfer adhesive (such as Bondaweb): minimum approx. 11” x 271⁄2” (28cm x 70cm)
