Anna from the studio has made this lovely Liberty Chevron Quilt using my new Exclusive Liberty fabrics from the new collection. It’s really pretty and is featured in ‘Be Creative with Workbox Magazine’ in their May / June issue. The pattern is from my Chevron Quilt pattern but you can get the pattern free if you buy the magazine which is on sale now.
This is a really fun quilt to make that uses a quick piecing method. It’s a lovely way to use your rainbow fabrics. The finished quilt size is 38″ x 52″ which can be used as a cot or a lap quilt. Anna has used it to cover a little chair and it look lovely and definitely brightens up her kitchen.
The quilt uses 12 different colours of fabrics pieced in a rainbow. This selection is from my Alice Caroline exclusive fabrics. Fabrics top to bottom are: Poppy & Daisy Y, Betsy Y Mint, Mitsi X, June’s Meadow Green, June’s Meadow Yellow, Mitsi Valeria X, Mitsi Z, Poppy & Daisy X, Margaret Annie Y Hot Orange, Betsy X Pink and Green, Mitsi Y, Betsy Anne X Pink and Blue.

Anna said that she loved making this quilt. The chevrons make it look a little complicated but the pattern makes it really easy. It forms triangles using squares to piece them together. You can either buy the magazine or my pattern to find out the full story.
