Vintage Style Liberty Peg Bag

Lara has made this gorgeous Vintage Style Liberty Peg Bag using the left over organic fabrics from the Easter apron.  The new Liberty organic fabrics are perfect for this vintage style type of project.  Their soft colours have a lovely vintage feel. I asked Lara about the project: “This project was an off shoot from the pinafore I made for Easter Sunday.  I used the scraps from the fat quarters for the appliquéd birds and flowers.  I love using absolutely every scrap of fabric up.  I’m really into zero waste and this, coupled with the fact that Liberty fabric is …

Gorgeous Liberty Jacket

I’ve made a jacket using one of the patterns that we are showcasing on the website.  I’ve used a gorgeous wool teal for the outside and then lined with Liberty Tana Lawn for a really decadent finish.  I really enjoyed making this and I love matching it with my favourite jeans to create both a smart and casual look. The pattern:  It’s by Sew to Grow and is the Bespoke Blazer Pattern.  I love the incredible simplicity of this pattern.  It’s very easy and uses the clever ‘burrito method’ which looks like a rolled up burrito but then turns into …

I’m stepping out of my comfort zone in springy yellow dungarees and feeling quite pleased with the outcome. Are they dungarees if they have a back bodice thing instead of just an apron front flap bodice thing? Where do dungarees end and …

This is the last of Suzanne Campion’s lovely projects using my exclusive Butterfly Garden range of fabrics from last year.  Suzanne has called this her Anna’s Cotswold Window Liberty Garden Quilt.  She’s used one fat quarter of the Anna’s Garden Teal fabric in a really clever way.  I love the way she’s continued the fabric pattern looking through the window.         What gave you the idea to make this quilt? “I have always wanted to make an Attic Window quilt. When I received this fat quarter of your exclusive Anna’s Garden print it was what I would like …
